Canada has participated twice in the Mlovision Song Contest. The first time they appeared was in 2015 with alternative rock band Thousand Foot Krutch with the song "Untraveled Road" that scored 101 points and got the second place.

The band Thousand Foot Krutch was chosen by Mlo to be the first entry of Canada in the contest. The song "Untraveled Road" was performed 9th at the event and scored 101 points and came in 2nd place.
Despite the second place that they got, the country withdrew from the competition from 2015 until 2019, the same year when the country chose singer Betta Lemme with her song "Bambola", that got the fourth place, despite not receiving points from Mlo.

The Shirley Manson Award[]
