Thirty countries have participated in the Mlovision Song Contest since it started in 2008.
Of these, only seven have won the contest at least once. The contest, is organized by Mlo, and is held annually with all the countries in the world. Songs are chosen by Mlo months prior to the event, which is held in December, and the aim is to pick a winner as "the best song of the year".
From 2008 to 2013, the songs were only ranked at the end of the show by Mlo; from 2014 to 2015, the entries got points awarded by Mlo at the end of it; and from 2016 to present, there is a jury that cast votes as the Eurovision Song Contest system (12, 10, 8-1 points) and also from Mlo, to determine a final winner.
